I love my new jacket. Excellent quality (as all the Ashmei products I own are) it fits very nicely and is beautifully cut. Performance is excellent and its versatile enough to wear when out and about not just running. Overall a top class piece of clothing - 110% recommended
Great jacket, excellently packaged and delivered
I've found the perfect wet weather running jacket
Where do I start? Its fit is so comfy, it moves with me rather than against me when I run. It's not heavy and 'noisy' like other waterproofs I have worn, and the ventilation zips are brilliant, so I didn't overheat during my wet run. The hand warmers are a great touch, which not only keeps my hands warm, it also stops any rain from entering around the wrist. And it looks fabulous.
Very nice to run in, well thought out and looks good too. Very happy and worth the price.
As good as I hoped
I have owned the black Ashmei running Gillet for a couple of winters, maybe even three, and love it and wear it so much. It has worn so well that I didn't hesitate to buy the red softshell jacket when I could for those winter runs when I need a bit more than the Gillet. I wondered if the build quality would have changed as sometimes does happen when companies mature and scale up, but the jacket looks as well made and the fabric just as good quality as the Gillet so I have no hesitation in recommending it. As it's summer I haven't actually had need to run in the jacket yet (but have been riding in my Gillet on cooler days).
