This jacket is does what says. It is light and compact and takes up no space when stuffed into its own pocket. The functionality too is awesome. I was surprised that something so light could be so wind proof. It is stylish and is a great fit. This is probably going to be my go to garment as we enter Autumn & Winter.

  2. Brian OMurchu

This jacket exceeded my expectations; the breathability and windproofness are exceptional. The jacket packs down small which makes it very convienent to carry if not wearing it. The styling and cut are as good as the functionality of the jacket (ie athletic, not flapping in the wind, etc). The only downside is that there is no pocket, but the other aspects of the garment means I cannot give it less than 5 stars

This is a top bit of kit.
    It’s a snug fit – I’m a lean 6 foot/11 stone and the medium fits me perfectly.
It seems far more breathable than any other windshirt I’ve ever run or cycled in, whilst still providing good protection, and it’s supremely comfortable. It’s so light that you barely know you’re wearing it and there’s no rustling like a crisp packet whenever you move, nor any clamminess next to the skin if you wear it over a vest.
I find the high collar very comfortable when zipped up against the elements. I think the asymmetric zip probably helps here, although it also means that the ‘ big’ side tends to flap a bit when it’s unzipped. This is easily solved by tucking it back under itself.
Highly recommended overall and well worth the premium price, in my opinion.
    It looks the business too!

this jacket s perfect for our Australian winter/spring (we avg around 15 degrees even in winter) love how light it is and fits perfectly, i use it mostly for cycling commute and my long walks with my dog Bertie, styling and comfort guaranteed with this item! I could not recommend it more.

  5. Charlie

Whilst the jacket was much thinner than I was expecting, it is more than sufficient and it makes the jacket feel extremely lightweight. I’ve been out for two runs in it so far, with just a t-shirt on underneath, and it kept me at the perfect temperature despite a strong wind and light rain. It will be my go-to jacket for the winter/spring and I’ll pair it with my Ashmei jumper for when it’s very cold. A great product!

Really useful running jacket for windy or colder days.
The breathability is a problem in a lot of running jackets but this jacket has plenty of ventilation and isn’t an issue.
The styling is really quite sleek and subtle unlike many running jackets
The jacket is really well vented and packs down to an easily pocketable size should you wish to take it off during a run.

  7. Alex Barrow-Williams

A confession: this is the first running jacket I’ve owned, but I can’t see that I’m going to need another one. The fit is great, it’s quiet, it’s well vented, doesn’t seem to get stinky, washes well, isn’t over-branded and isn’t in awful high-viz yellow. I’ve used it for runs in the country when there’s rain in the air, and for run-commutes when the early train to London necessitates something to keep the cold off. If it needs to come off mid-run the fact it packs down to something you can hold in your hand or stuff in a pocket is a bonus. I would recommend anyone who is considering this to just buy it. You won’t regret it.

This jacket is the definition of ‘go-to’. I ware it virtually every day. I run (lots!) in it, I go shopping in it, I go to work meetings in it, I go out to dinner in it. Unlike so much sports ware it looks great. The lazer cut ‘ashmei’ vent on the front is really subtle and I personally love the vent holes on the back with the reflective circles around them.

Its mega breathable so I often find myself leaving it on way past the time it takes me to get warm on a run. It’s really windproof which offers a great deal of protection. It’s not as warm as or as water resistant as the Ultimate Softshell which I love in deep winter but I still consider it a real year round garment. It is much lighter than the Softshell.

It packs into a tiny ball in a mesh bag that’s connected to it. This means its easy to pack into a hydration vest on a long run. Then I am safe in the knowledge that I have it with me should the weather turn.

    Highly recommended.
