Cuts out the wind, keeps the rain out. Don’t over heat in it either. Fit is slightly tighter than the filler I’ve got the same size, certainly round the shoulders and chest, but therefore doesn’t flap when you get speed up. Fits on a pocket so easy to take with you when the weather is changeable. Exactly what I was after.

This jacket is lovely. Typical ashmei attention to detail. Packs away to almost nothing. The material is super soft & not the usual “boil in the bag” fabric . Fit is great for me, I’m 183cm & 75kg & the medium is perfect. I’m happy that there are 3 rear pockets, I have a few ashmei merino jerseys, although I like them very much the 2 pocket design is a bit of a downside. If this jacket holds up & lasts as well if these jerseys it will be a very worthwhile addition & great value.

First time purchase from ashmei, great design and quality and does exactly what it says it will do, very happy with the jacket. My only reservation is the sizing/fit. I’m 5”9’ and 70kg and found myself between a S and an M size. I went with the medium and this is good in terms of fit around the chest but the jacket sleeve length are a little long and I have some excess material around the shoulders that bunches up and flaps around in the wind. I feel the products are made for tall slim riders and probably fit them perfect but where a M in rapha or le col fit me perfectly in terms of width and length I find the M too long on this jacket and the S length is good in terms of length but too small on the chest. That’s purely down to my size/build though and can’t fault the product in terms of quality, performance or looks.
