I’m extremely pleased with these socks. As with all the ashmei gear I’ve bought, the quality and fit is excellent. Although I’ve been using merino socks for running for years these are the first specific cycling socks I’ve bought and have found them perfect not only for biking but also running and hill walking. I’ve now bought several pairs and after numerous washes they still retain their cushioning and shape. They are expensive but in my opinion well worth the price. I’ve also been very impressed with the customer service and speedy delivery.

The item was too small so I asked for an exchange for the same but in a bigger size. On returning the item, I was sent an email telling me that the item had been refunded for less than I paid for it and with no mention of an exchange. I originally paid £126.00 for the item and was subsequently refunded £113.40. I was very disappointed as I really liked the product. I am currently waiting for a response regarding this and if it is not resolved then I won’t be buying from the company again. It’s a shame because the product is good quality so I would recommend the product but not the company.

Very impressed. Subtle and stylish. I have used these socks for summer rides (average 1 hr climbs) and they are very comfortable. I thought that they were too hot initially (whilst walking about the house) but they soon proved to feel good through the rides. I haven't washed them yet- so I cannot comment on that. It really is true-merino is odour resistant. Give them a go!
