As competent on the lunchtime shakeout as they are facing down an ultramarathon, our 2-in-1 Merino Running Shorts provide limitless comfort and convenience. Building outwards from an ultra-stretchy and semi-compressive terry-looped Merino wool liner, this supports the quads without chafing or excessive constriction.
Improving blood circulation and reducing fatigue, this first layer also provides far above average thermoregulation properties. Achieving this thanks to its Merino construction, it’s also naturally able to manage bacteria, keeping you fresher and allowing multiple uses before needing to be put in the wash.
Working in harmony with the outer layer, this second component adds a lightweight windproof shell with a durable water-repellent finish to help you outrun showers. On the reverse, you’ll find a generously sized phone pocket. Positioned to be comfortable and stable, it’s a safe place to keep your keys or other essential carry-along items.

These are just a great fit, great look pair of 2 in 1 shorts. Really comfortable for all day activities (and don't look too daft when you wear them for non-sports day chores). They are my go-to short for running (road as well my preferred trail running), padel tennis, long walks, and cycling to/from the beach for sea-swims. Spot on - the fit has improved 100% since generation 1 of these shorts and they are just right.

I had a mk1 version of Ashmei's shorts for the past 7? years. I reordered and went a size down and these are absolutely perfect fit and great comfort. The liners are slightly shorter than they used to be so fit better against the hem of the short and the sizing now gives less extra material around the thigh and backside which looks better than the old ones which were a bit 'floaty'. good job - I bought 2 and they're both keepers

These are very comfortable shorts. I've been wearing them for short runs in case of chafing issues but there have been none so far. I bought size M which fit nicely and I've even used the drawstring which was good for my ego after my recent all-pie diet. Delivery was within the time advertised and there was no plastic in the packaging which I thought was an excellent touch.
