Winter heaven
I have recently bought a pair of Merino Thermal Bib Tights (No Pad) . This is actually my second pair of these, as I'd worn the 1st pair to death over the last few winters. These tights are beautifully comfortable, you wear them over your favourite shorts, they are amazingly warm but miraculously never seem to be too warm if the weather warms up during the day. The materials are comfortable against the skin, never any chafing or rubbing. An amazing quality product which I cannot recommend highly enough. Go on, give them a try...

I've had these winter tights for a couple of months now, and I have to say I'm very impressed. I was a little apprehensive to start as they do not contain a chamois which means you have to wear a cycle short underneath. However the plus is you get to wear your favorite short underneath. As with most things Ashmei the fit is snug and the tights are gently compressing but once on the fit is superb and supporting. The materials are very comfortable against the skin and nothing chafes or rucks up. But here is the magic, I have warn these tights in temperatures down to 2-3 degrees C this winter and as the day warms, up to 10-12 degrees and I have been comfortable, never cold and never too warm. This range of temperatures is truly remarkable. You even stay comfortably warm when you stop at the café on those cold days where most kit lets the chill in. The materials appear to be wind proof, so the cutting cold winds we have had this year, don’t get through and although not waterproof rain just beads up on the outside and rolls away so you don’t get that cold strike of wet materials against the skin. So as I said at the start I am very impressed with these tights and whole heartedly recommend them. 10 out of 10. Thanks Ashmei.
